TTP Peer Review Process
Once a new manuscript is submitted, an Editor from the journal’s Editorial Board will be appointed as Handling Editor for your manuscript based on the Editors’ availability and suitability, taking into account potential conflicts of interest.
The appointed Handling Editor has the option to reject the manuscript outright. This may happen if it is not a good fit for the journal or of insufficient quality. Otherwise, if the Handling Editor is satisfied, they will initiate a single-blind peer review process in which a number of external reviewers will be appointed.
Based on the submitted review reports, the Handling Editor will make a final recommendation on the manuscript as follows:
- Publish Unaltered: the manuscript is accepted and the authors are required to align their manuscript with Andromeda’s requirements to be ready for the production stage.
- Consider after Changes: The authors will receive feedback and be asked to submit an amended version addressing the reviewers’ concerns. The amended manuscript will be checked again to ensure that the concerns have been addressed. If the manuscript is accepted, the authors are required to align their manuscript with Andromeda’s requirements to be ready for the production stage.
- Reject: The manuscript is immediately rejected. A manuscript must be rejected if the majority of the reviewers recommend doing so.
